Connect in three steps
- In Carden, open Integrations, add Business Central, and choose Grant admin consent. A Microsoft Entra administrator signs in and approves Carden's read-only app for the tenant.
- In Business Central, open Microsoft Entra Applications, choose New, enter Carden's client ID shown on the connection page, set State to Enabled, and assign the D365 READ permission set.
- Back in Carden, enter the environment name exactly as shown in the Business Central admin center (often Production), choose Find companies, and connect the company. The first import starts automatically.
How imports run
| Run | What Carden reads | When |
|---|---|---|
| Complete snapshot | Company information, all items, and all sales invoices with lines. | On first connection and at least daily. Invoices missing from a complete snapshot are flagged for review, never treated as paid or refunded. |
| Incremental | Items and sales invoices modified since the last checkpoint, with a five-minute overlap. | Every few hours, and when you choose Sync now. |
Revisions are ordered by Business Central's modification time. Two different payloads with the same modification time are held for review rather than choosing whichever arrived last.
